Dr. Edward Rippel and his team apply state of the art technology to achieve significant improvements in the quality of healthcare while enhancing the doctor-patient relationship.

NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH)

The Patient Centered Medical Home is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care based on a partnership between the patient and their physician. Patient care is coordinated by the primary care provider throughout the healthcare system. Practices are required to go through rigorous evaluations to ensure they fully comply with the PCMH model.
NCQA Diabetes Recognition (DRP)

DRP Recognition shows patients and others in the Diabetes community that a practice is part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care. This includes excellence in control of sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol as well as eye examinations, kidney assessment, smoking cessation advice or treatment.
NCQA Heart Stroke Recognition (HSRP)

The Heart Stroke Recognition Program (HSRP) assesses key quality performance measures that are guidelines for secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Program measures include blood pressure and cholesterol control, the use of aspirin or another antithrombotic medication, smoking cessation advice or treatment.
Physician of the Year 2011 New Haven Magazine

Recognized for implementing electronic medical records and achieving recognition as a patient centered medical home, in a solo practice. Combining the benefits of this health care model with a successful business model Dr. Edward Rippel was named Physician of the Year by New Haven Magazine 2011.
